Our concrete objectives are that socially vulnerable human beings are able to realize their rights to legal capacity and thus have the legal prerequisites to be fully integrated into society. We aim at supporting people to live physically, emotionally and mentally healthy lifes and to create nourishing and harmonious interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.

We are doing this by supporting socially vulnerable members of the Roma minority who are in the country illegally and are at risk to become victims of human traficking. Our goal is for them and their family members to have legal status, valid ID documents and thus access to social services and the labour market.

We support responsible government institutions in modifying relevant laws and regulations so that they are consistent with constitutions and international human rights conventions. In this way, people in poverty can have health insurance and thus access to healthcare.

Through educational programs, we support young people from marginalized families in acquiring life skills so that they can shape the life they are yearning for.

Faros is a partner in an international, EU-funded project which advises and prepares people who took the decision to emigrate to Germany and work there so that they can take up legal employment appropriate to their qualifications, skills and talents.
